Do You Need A Permit In Squamish For Your Property

For Properties Larger than One (1) Acre
A permit is required
For Properties Smaller than One (1) Acre
A permit is required IF:
Your property is located within an environmentally sensitive area or Riparian assessment area.
If the tree is of significant diameter (80cm) or a replacement tree.
If the tree is located on a slope with a grade of 20% or more.
If the tree is within 10 meters of a knotweed plant.
